- Dieldrin linked to breast cancer "Danish and American researchers announced last week results of a new study in which exposure to dieldrin, a pesticide that is banned in most industrialized countries, was associated with a significantly increased risk of breast cancer.
- Great Lakes cause Arctic pesticide pollution "Concerns about toxic chemicals in the Great Lakes of Canada and the United States have broadened from issues associated with emissions into the lakes to include dispersal of pollutants, including suspected endocrine disrupters, from the lakes, according to a new report issued by the bi-national International Joint Commission (IJC).
- Phthalate levels in UK formula down sharply "A recent survey reveals a sharp decline over the last two years in the amount of phthalates in infant formula sold in the United Kingdom."
