A study on nutritional factors in the etiology of brain tumors reports some surprising results:
- Consumption of fruit was associated with a statistically significant 76 percent increase in brain tumors.
- Consumption of fruits rich in vitamin C was associated with a statistically significant 101 percent increase in brain tumors.
So why shouldn't we believe that particulate air pollution increases mortality by 17 percent? Or that secondhand smoke increases lung cancer risk by 19 percent?
